Shalom

Respite one might call it
The first gleam of day at dawn
But it breaks silence of tender night
And the cord of harmony of moonlight is quietens
Yet while in the beauty of fireflies glows
In the joy or lattitude we are caught
In the tenderness of the humble moment
In the comeliness of your face
In the entanglement of emotion between us
In your affection, my sunrise,
Yet I am still dreaming even though awake
With the cupid arrow lodged in my heart
My Shalom
