Fuel scarcity

NNPC said that the tanker drivers are diverting the petrol meant for the Nigerians who face harsh struggle of queuing everyday. If this is the problem, I think the NNPC should formulate modality to ensure that the tanker drivers must have tracking devices on their truck.

True love

As the rain washes your make-up away
Together we stand with my arms around you
Your beauty firmly clutches onto your comely face
I hold your hands calmly
The pulse I have lost long long time ago
This moment so cherished restored
The colour of your eyes
I am humbled from gaze
Ur tender lips in mine as emotion took over me
Memory Quite foregone now regained
My Angel forever together we shall be
Until time sequestered from reality
Yet true we eternally lived

Naija

A rich man who put key into his food store in the care of a hungry servant and had him lynched  before his mates for taking a bit of his kola nut  should not sleep at night with his two eyes closed.
A nation that is not fair to his people we know no peace.
A nation whose streets are walked by frustrated youth, is a shadow of itself,
Whose young men are without prospect has no future.

LIFE
Life is so precious
Life is so fragile like an egg
Once it falls it breaks

Don't live other people's life
Live your own true life
Always remember to make
Good use of your life
While you have them

The end of the road is death
When you have your life and don't achieve anything
It is a waste
So always make Good use of your LIFE
WHILE you have it.

THE LIVING TREE
Filled with fruit and birds,
Surrounded with green grasses
And lovely flowers
Beautifying environment with lovely fruits
Which brings forth lovely singing birds
And colourful flowers shunning light, beautiful
The living tree

Every morning I come out
Out to see the beauty of the tree
There are  days I eat it's lovely fruit
Life and bliss into me it brings
And hears the hymn of it's melodious birds The Living tree

In the rain with it's extensive branches covers me
Though wet just keep me from the rain
It's fruits relieves me from hunger
Always waves at me when I for out
The Living Tree

At autumn a warm home for the birds
At summer it provides shade for me
Enduring the sun to provide me a shade
And smiling at me when I am sad
Whistling through the wind to put me to sleep
At the garden never wait for sunshine
To wake me with the dawn
The Living Tree

ANIMALS
Animals are of different kinds
Either big or small
Ruminants or Non-ruminants
Mammals or aves
Pisces or amphibian
They are also of different sizes

There is a particular animal I know
The most common animal in the jungle
Popularly called 'The King Of The Jungle'
They walk in group with pride
This makes them stronger than other animals

They stand in unity
Female hunts while male eat
Males snuggled in their father's mane

They are scary
Show their power and authority
They roar, could be heard miles away
Their golden so beautiful in the Savannah sun
Very strong and powerful in cat family

They are very fast
Climb trees and tear flesh of their preys
Even this bigger than them

This Animal
God made them Adam named them
But man keep them in Reserve

A PRECIOUS HORSE
A horse is a precious horse
when it runs
It never gets tired easily
When it walks
It never faints
White, as smooth as  bleached clouds

A horse is strong
Can travel a distance far beyond reach
Used for sport its pace no one can beat
Gallops on cobbled road
Its hooves clatter with grace
Such a precious horse

THIS WICKED WORLD
This World, what a wicked world It is
So wicked That no one to be trusted
We are living In a corruptible society
To The left and right, front and back
Are corruptible people
Even The world itself Is corrupt and full OF evil
In Which No one should you put Your trust In but God

Wives betray husbands
Husbands their wives
Children unfaithful to their parents
Friends undependable
Oh, their Is no one to  rely on
What a wicked world we are living
Surrounded by wicked people
Trust nobody Even when yourself don't trust you
Put Your trust In no one but God.

This world Is such a wicked one
The more we live the more We learn
This world Is wicked
So We should be careful In every decision
We make In this world
That we might fall into the trap of  The enemies

AS I GROW OLDER
It was a Long Time ago
I Have almost forgotten My dream
But it was There then
In front Of me
Bright like a sun, My dream
And then The wall rose
Rose slowly, slowly
Between me And My dream
Rose Until It touches The sky
The wall, a shadow cast I lie down in
No longer The light Of My dream before me
But above me, bricks upon bricks, a giant enemy
Yet My hand shall break through The wall
My hidden dream shall I find
And My darkness shall shatter
As I smash My night
Break My shadow into a thousand lights OF sun
Or into a thousand whirling dreams In The stars

Naija Post-Mortem Before New Beginning

There is hunger in my belly
My brain a vacuity of skill
As much as I willed to have one
My beautiful mind maybe a devil's workshop
No stimulus from the State to aid me
With trembling feet ply the street
Though I may falter, yet find shelter in the rain and shed scorching sun
Not only the commuters feel the scarcity of Oil
Even worst beggars,
Even token earned by sympathy
Their struggle able men augment with
At least a little succour is better than none
But look at me
A time bomb, no one to diffuse me
Everyone taking up his cross
Even if the crippled would not walk
He might be trampled by life....

True Love Is Found.

If u appreciate my effort, however little it may be;if you held me close in your arms, even wen I least need you; when you carry me in ur back when I am not worthy of you; if u bear my burden even though more heavy than you ever imagined before you say 'Yes'; when you mop my tears when I stray away, and care for me even though sometimes I let you down. Heaven don't need to tell me, I know 'That Is Love ' . You are an Heaven-sent, and the message is Clear 'Love Is Good.'  I LOVE YOU ALL. www.truthattwilight.com

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

Not until you look that you see. The true picture of yourself is first inside before the world can see. The way u see urself is the way the world will see you. So I call you 'Handsome' and 'Beauty' but it is left for u to believe or not to believe, but I believe in you. I Love you. www.truthattwilight.com

TO ALL SWEET DADDYS

If he never planted how would she ever brood, or he ever germinate and sprouts from tender root to a tall tree. Even though she waters but he prunes. Even though she cares, in correcting our paths, he shows Love but we never understood until wen we also become a man and sire. He is a Father.. www.truthattwilight.com

Belated Mother's Day

In the throbs of her heart I heaves my worries
My humble head nestled in her warm bosom
She lays me down in the solace of her gentle voice
Wherefore my earnest dream earns undeserved comfort
Because from her lap is where all begins
No matter How overwhelming life is
Or solemn my humble beginning
In the instinct of her womanhood
Is the hope of light in this world full of dark
So that even through bleary eyes I see
And crying moment yet I hear the still voice that points the way
That I may lay it all down
All that burdens I bear...
She is not Just a mother,
She is a friend, wife, Comforter, Lover
And anything Good in my life.

Assurance Of Hope

It is hopeful ignorance to think a stagnant water will never stench or for a dead leaf dream of sunshine of growth, history without story, success without trying, Dawn without cock crow...only that there is sanity in ideal of CHANGE if only we make a move. How would you hope for rain, however drizzle it might be in iota of faith, from long draught without buying an umbrella. Hope is only in trying, and not in folding of arms or wishing the mountain to move towards us without daring the mountain. Your future is not Just in the dawn but dream of sunshine. I love you all www.truthattwilight.com

Truth never true

The conflict between conscience and creed is settled by divine knowledge of our purpose, truthful to living out our consciousness by being ourselves. www.truthattwilight.com

Hope

In the face of challenges the best of man is known.
In the face of despair we Can be positive.
In the face of tyranny, the test of patriotism is true.
In the face of dire need is the hope of calling.
In the fierce disappointment of defeat sometime is victory
Wherefore valour, though seemed vanquished, does  not stay aground spread-eagled
But spring from the shadow of the past into the light if reality
Dusting the ashes of yesterday onto the quicksand of today we stand on the unshaken rock of possibilities,
So we Can move on onto the future,
And the Future is you and I.

Truth at twilight

Something was wrong between his thighs that he could not sire a child. Though stunningly handsome and full of courage yet he has no gut to woo women. He was not a complete man until he met AMOPE who, being a balm on his wound but yet, was a salt. It was too late to realised that he has erred after all his salvation by the maiden sent from the gods. Check out my book: TRUTH AT TWILIGHT @ www.truthattwilight.com

Bama is Falling

i have never  anticipated nightfal over BAMA as much ask i now. As long i lay my uneasy back in the floor, disturbed more with the noise of pesky mosquitoes than the loud snore of my wife, interrupted with the long whistle of my son. Only this time i could measure his sanity under moonlight When fast asleep, rolling sometimes against, and  even over, his mother who often jabbed him even in her sleep, and moaned my name. There is difference between the light of the sweltering noon  and empty shadow of the night in Her sleep Only that Her senses are alert under the sun but still a roll-over of the emptiness of the bygone night which is also a consistent fraction of nature.

Hope

I bewail our fate, in the cold feel the heat of the day filled with turmoil of living, our tears not enough to hitch up our hope but anyhow we shall she'd them cos from eyes where from honest tears are she'd, however ignoble or humble it might, gives the heart dense with travail of life, however trifle it might be or huge, relief from momentary sorrow. I am sure, the gleam of light is not far from dawn, and the tears we shed now we shall shed no more.
